I've recently heard this statement over and over and I'm confused as to why the Repubs don't turn it around on the Dems and RENAME themselves, "THE PARTY OF KNOW" - When you "know" what this administration has written into their stimulus plan, then you are obligated to VOTE "NO".
I'm not sure we even know all the garbage sequestered inside the stimulus .. but we ought to KNOW - because when we KNOW, then we will most certainly VOTE NO!!
So .. when are the Repubs going to stand up and say, "YES, WE'RE THE PARTY OF KNOW - AND THAT'S WHY WE WILL CONTINUE TO VOTE "NO".
C'mon Repubs .. stop running around the country trying to make nice and create a new "moderate" party .. which still will not win elections .. and get off your blessed assurance and start fighting back.
People already know what McCain's policies are .. and the country has already rejected them .. THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN A CLUE to his new followers!! It saddens me to see some of the names that are following McCain into oblivian - I hope they wake up before it's too late.
You cannot make nice with the Dems and say you have "conservative principles". The two simply do not go together. The Dems will shake your hand and when you turn around they will stab you in the back. What is it going to take to get the Repubs to see this ..??
If people would just stand up and shout back at the Dems "the party of no" statement .. and instead - remind the Dems that we're really the part of KNOW - and because we KNOW what they're up to .. WE'RE STILL GOING TO VOTE NO!!!
